General Enrollment Information: Students who reside in the transport zone for the school they are attending are eligible to ride the bus. To sign up for the bus, please follow these steps (Note: if you are a parent with an existing PaySchools Central account, you can skip to step 3):

• Enrollment for transportation opens the first week of July! 

• Sign in to your Infinite Campus parent portal account and retrieve your student's ID number. This is found in Infinite Campus by selecting "Today." If you don't have a parent account for Infinite Campus, please see our Sign-Up page. The ID number is used to link your student to your PaySchools Central account in step 2.

• Sign in to your PaySchools Central account. If you don't already have an account, please see the instructions on our Payments page.

• Once your PaySchools Central account is active, log in so you can select the Transportation fee. Once you have selected this for all students who will be riding, you can check out and pay with credit or debit card. The information is automatically sent to transportation so they can route your student(s).

• Please note, if you reside east of Highway 83, you will need to contact transportation@lewispalmer.org to register so that you receive your discounted rate.

• Bus stop information will be posted after August 13. Please check your Infinite Campus parent portal account to get the information for your student.

Free & Reduced Eligibility Information: If your student qualifies for Free and Reduced Price School Meals, you are not required to pay using the above steps. Please follow the below steps:

• Please continue to use PaySchools, and please add the flat rate to your cart. If you are Free & Reduced, our system will recognize that, and your free will be waived.

• Please continue to reapply for Free & Reduced School Meals prior to the deadline each year.

Dual-Household Rider Information: If your student lives in a dual household situation and will require routing to or from multiple locations, please follow the below steps:

• Please contact our transportation team to ensure this routing is available. Please email first, using email the Transportation department..

• Provide your additional information via email. Student(s) will not be routed to multiple locations until you have made contact with the transportation office. 

• If you are unable to reach an individual or are having difficulty, you may contact 719-488-4711 or visit us in person. Please note all requests should be emailed for tracking purposes.

• Deadline Information: The deadline to enroll in D38 transportation is August 3. After this date, D38 will accept applicants to a waiting list for consideration. We encourage all families interested in transportation to enroll beforehand.  

• Z-Pass Information: All riders are issued one free Z-Pass to help track bus usage and ensure safety. If a Z-Pass is lost, a $5 fee will be assessed to replace the pass. 

• We understand that some students may only need to ride the bus on an occasional basis. For this reason, we have created the option of a 20-ride punch card for $45 in the 2022-2023 School Year. These may be purchased only at the Transportation Department located at 99 Santa Fe Avenue in Monument during normal business hours and are issued on a space-available basis only. Payments for punch cards may be made by cash or check only. (These will be available for purchase beginning September 12, 2023) 

• If you purchase one of these, your student will be assigned to the closest existing bus stop to your home. We are unable to create a special bus stop for the occasional rider. However, we will make sure there is a seat on the bus for your student when it is needed.

• Unfortunately, if the punch card is lost, there is no free replacement. There are no refunds for unused punches.

• Please note: Remaining punch cards from the 2021-2022 School Year may be used beginning September 12, 2022, due to our need to identify space availability on bus routes.
