Preschool Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year

Free Preschool & Pre-k in 2023-24

Lewis-Palmer School District is planning to participate in Colorado's Universal Preschool (UPK) program that offers free, voluntary preschool for families of children in the year before they are eligible for kindergarten and qualifying for 3-year-olds. Families can now apply for UPK Colorado here for the 2023-24 school year.

Follow these steps to apply.

  1. Complete the Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado Family Application: This is for all students, including any current preschool students who will continue in preschool or PreK in 2023-2024.

  2. Accept your school match through Universal Preschool Colorado (UPK)

  3. Enrolling in Preschool (online): Once LPSD has received your application, instructions for completing the online enrollment process will be sent to the email provided in your application. We anticipate receiving the first set of applications in mid-March of 2023.

  4. Complete and turn in the Additional Preschool Forms Packet (or Additional Preschool Forms Packet in Spanish): In addition to completing the new student enrollment in step 3 above, which is an online application, there are preschool-specific forms required by licensing that must be completed. These required forms must be turned in to your child's preschool at the August open house events or by the first day of school.
