Colorado Preschool Program (CPP)

The Colorado Preschool Program is being replaced by Colorado's Universal Preschool Program (UPK) beginning the 2023-24 school year. The Department of Early Childhood is slated to fund voluntary preschool for every Colorado child in the year before being kindergarten eligible and for eligible 3-year-olds. To apply, see our Preschool Enrollment for 2023-24 tab

The Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) provides tuition for families in need through a state-funded program. Tuition is covered for children who qualify based on family, economic, or developmental needs.  Certain risk factors have been shown to be associated with challenges later in school, and preschool can help remove those risk factors. Our district has a limited number of spaces available.

Additional information can be found on the Colorado Department of Education website.
