UPDATE: Our transportation team showed up early this morning to prepare our buses for their routes. Due to bitter cold conditions overnight and despite their best efforts, we have multiple buses that will not start. Unfortunately, this significantly impacts our bus fleet and our ability to operate our bus routes today. As a result, School District 38 will be CLOSED ON TUESDAY, JAN. 21. This does not include our Monument Academy campuses.

As a reminder, on closure days, there are no after-school or athletic activities, unless approved by the superintendent, and Leading Edge (our before and after school care program) is also canceled. While district offices are closed, the Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight will still take place at the regular time. Our weather team strives to communicate weather impacts to our staff and families as early as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this shift to a closure may cause.
