Palmer Lake Elementary students cheer on and give high fives to other students as they run during the Panther Prowl

Panther Prowl was an amazing day full of fun, energy, and school spirit at Palmer Lake Elementary!

The annual event is a fundraiser during which students complete as many laps as they can around the playground to raise money from their sponsors. One grade of students runs for 20 minutes while another grade cheers them on. Family and friends also come to cheer on students as they run.

This year's event felt more like a dance party than a fundraiser, as students waved pom-poms and jumped around while they cheered on their classmates.

Once all of the laps were tallied, students had raised more than $16,000 for Palmer Lake Elementary!

All of the money raised during the Panther Prowl goes right back to the school and helps pay for hands on learning experiences and technology updates, as well as classroom and school-wide needs.
