Monica Tupper- Golden Apple Award winner

A wonderful LPHS staff tradition is the Golden Apple Award, which recognizes exceptional educators for their meaningful and lasting impact on students and our school community.

This month’s recipient, Monica Tupper, was nominated by Julie Wiley. Monica creates a classroom where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to succeed. She encourages them to think critically, ask questions, take intellectual risks, and grow into confident, independent learners.

Monica’s impact reaches far beyond her classroom through her commitment to HOSA, community blood drives, and LPHS athletics. She gives countless hours to supporting students and also serves as a trusted mentor and source of encouragement to her colleagues.

Through her professionalism, compassion, and dedication, Monica is helping continue the legacy of excellence at LPHS.

Congratulations, Mrs. Tupper!
