Information is found under the Announcements Section

Field Hockey is a District 38 sport, and one of the most popular sports on the planet today. It is played in over 127 countries, as one of the most watched Summer Olympic Games with 2 billion fans worldwide. Field hockey is ranked as the fastest sport on turf with the ball topping speeds over 100mph. Since 2008 Palmer Ridge Field Hockey has enjoyed a winning tradition as we look to continue our success. As head coach I welcome all district 38 athletes to come out and experience one of the most fast-paced, exciting sports you will ever play. We have never made cuts, as all participants will get to enjoy playing the game! Palmer Ridge Field Hockey is a team-building sport that encourages all student athletes to live a fun healthy lifestyle, while achieving all personal and team goals both on and off the field. As coaches we want to instill a passion and love for the game while taking advantage of the many positive lessons that go along with being part of a competitive team sport.

Field Hockey also offers many opportunities for student athletes looking to play in college as a D1, D2, D3 or even club level participant. Across the United States many of our Colorado students have gone on to play field hockey and continue to do so each year. Some of our past athletes have played at Liberty University, Stanford University, Syracuse University, Missouri State University, Central Michigan University, Slippery Rock University, Becker College, Tufts University, Limestone University, Middlebury College, UC Berkley and Princeton University to name a few. Here at Palmer Ridge High School we are working hard to develop some of the most talented and brightest student athletes in the country.
