A wonderful LPHS staff tradition is the Golden Apple Award, which recognizes exceptional educators for their meaningful and lasting impact on students and our school community.
This month’s recipient, Julie Wiley, was nominated by Evan Sapp. Julie has created a classroom where students feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to thrive. Her dedication extends well beyond academics—she generously gives her time outside the school day, leads multiple clubs, and continually creates opportunities for students to connect, explore their interests, and become more involved at LPHS.
Through her extraordinary dedication and commitment to building relationships, Julie is helping continue the legacy of excellence at LPHS.
