New Roundabout and Higby Road Instructions

Please review the attached map below before the first day of school.

New Traffic Flow

  • Enter campus from Higby Road using the new roundabout and the center entrance to the school parking lot.

  • Proceed north through the center drive to access parking spots.

  • For student drop-off, please follow the one-way traffic pattern around the parking lot as indicated on the attached map.

  • After dropping off or picking up your student, continue around the lot and exit using the west or middle exits back onto Higby Road.

  • The east access point remains closed while construction is completed.

  • You are no longer allowed to enter the parking lot near the Stadium (west). That is now designated one way, exiting the parking lot. ALL arrows on the map above are permanently one way.

  • There is NO through traffic permitted before/during/after school to the front of the school. This is designated as a delivery and first-responder roadway ONLY.

Jackson Creek Pkwy Instructions:

You can also enter from Jackson Creek Parkway, however you are not allowed to drop your student off OR pick your student up in the staff lot (North Athletic Entrance). That is bus loading and unloading ONLY. If you enter off Jackson Creek Pkwy, drive along the north side of the school past the tennis courts and enter the drop off/pick up lanes by the softball field.

Roundabout Reminder

We recognize that our new roundabout may be unfamiliar to those who are new to driving. We encourage families to take a few minutes to review basic roundabout rules with their student drivers before the first day of school. Remember to slow down as you approach the roundabout, yield to traffic already circulating, stay in your lane, avoid stopping inside the roundabout, and use your turn signal when exiting. A quick review now will help everyone navigate the new traffic pattern safely and confidently.

During the first week of school, staff members will be outside to help direct traffic and answer questions. We encourage everyone to allow a few extra minutes for arrival and dismissal as our community becomes familiar with the new traffic pattern.

Our shared goal is to keep traffic moving safely while providing a safe environment for students, staff, and families. We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and cooperation during this transition.
