  • The American Red Cross "Sound the Alarm" Project comes to Palmer Lake
    Palmer Lake Elementary School is hosting an American Red Cross “Sound the Alarm” smoke alarm installation event on Saturday, September 23. This project offers free installation of fire alarms in homes. More information here

  • Free Math Tutoring
    AfterMath free math tutoring at the Monument Library is returning for its seventh year. This service supports every grade level on Mondays from 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. beginning Monday, September 11.

  • Upcoming Board of Education Election

    Two LPSD school board director seats will be up for election in November 2017.  These two seats - Director District 1 and Director District 3 - will be for 4-year terms.  Details on candidate eligibility, the election process and timeline, and other important election details can be found here.

  • Lewis-Palmer School District Hall of Fame Inductees for 2017

    The Lewis-Palmer School District Hall of Fame Selection Committee is pleased to announce the inductees into the 2017 Hall of Fame: 

    Ida Liebert, former elementary principal

    Tommie Plank, former classified employee, school board director, community volunteer

    Linda Wilson, former elementary art and second grade teacher

    Mike Cassidy (Legacy Award), former high school counselor, coach, athletic director, assistant principal 

    These people were selected from a sizable number of nominees who made substantial and lasting contributions to District 38.  Please look for detailed information about these inductees in the local media during the next few months. They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a ceremony and reception on Saturday, October 7, 2017, 2:00 p.m., at Lewis-Palmer High School.

  • LPSD Finance Audit Results 
    Lewis-Palmer School District’s credit rating is again Aa2 which is above the nationwide school district median. Moody’s Investors Service, an independent credit rating agency, judged LPSD’s  financial position as very strong exhibiting sound financial management.

We set the foundation for lifelong learning, character development and the desire to achieve.  We value the relationships with our school community and embrace a partnership of learning.  It is our goal to create a trusting and safe environment where parents are proud to send their children and students are excited to attend.

    Class Time: 8:50 (first bell); 8:55 (second bell) to 3:50
    Unless otherwise stated, all hours are Monday through Friday.
