Most areas in our district have already received about 5” of snow, with surrounding areas in the region where some staff travel from at 10” or more. Despite snow plows actively working, the ongoing rate of snow has made it difficult to keep roads clear and safe. Icy conditions exist, and roads are hazardous for travel. As a result, we are shifting our weather call, and D38 will CLOSE ON FRIDAY, JAN. 9.
As a reminder, during closures Leading Edge (before and after school care) does not operate, administrative offices are closed, and there are no field trips, after-school activities, or athletic activities unless approved by the superintendent.
