Safe2Tell Gold Star Emblem

A safer school community starts with awareness, education, and speaking up.

We are proud to share that Lewis-Palmer Middle School has earned the Safe2Tell Gold Star! This recognition celebrates our commitment to ensuring students, staff, families, and community members understand how to recognize safety concerns and take action by using Safe2Tell.

Safe2Tell is a 24/7 anonymous reporting system operated by the Colorado Attorney General's Office. It provides a way for students, parents, staff, and community members to report safety concerns and potential threats without fear of retribution. Through ongoing education, training, and outreach, LPMS is working to ensure our school community knows not only that Safe2Tell exists, but also how and when to use it.

This Gold Star recognition reflects the collective effort to build a culture where people feel empowered to speak up when something doesn't seem right. We believe that creating a safe school environment is everyone's responsibility, and making sure our community knows how to access the right resources is an important part of that work.

What is Safe2Tell?

Safe2Tell is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Reports can be submitted through:

  • Phone call

  • Text message

  • The Safe2Tell website

  • The Safe2Tell mobile app

Reports are received by trained dispatchers and routed to appropriate local school officials and/or law enforcement for follow-up. Safe2Tell is a reporting pathway, not an emergency dispatch or mental health counseling service. For immediate emergencies, call 911.

Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community members for helping make LPMS a place where people look out for one another. This recognition is something we can all be proud of!
