The 2026-2027 school year may seem like a distant horizon, but for current 6th graders, it's time to start preparing for the transition to middle school! Moving from elementary school to middle school is a significant step, filled with new experiences, opportunities, and challenges. Getting a head start on familiarizing yourself with your future school can make all the difference in ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
For many students in our district, that next step is Lewis-Palmer Middle School (LPMS). LPMS is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. We understand that transitioning to a new school can be nerve-wracking, and we want to help make the process as easy as possible.
To help rising 7th graders and their families become acquainted with LPMS, we are hosting an open house night and we are also offering a limited number of campus tours. These tours and open house provide a fantastic opportunity to:
Familiarize yourselves with the LPMS campus layout.
Meet Principal Courtney Harrell and learn about her vision for the school.
Ask questions about the middle school experience.
Get a feel for the LPMS community.
Space on these tours is limited, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to secure your spot!
