Exciting news! 7th & 8th-grade students will take the YouScience® Aptitude & Career Discovery assessment this year as part of their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP). ICAP is a state mandated graduation requirement, and it is an integral piece to success in high school and beyond. Students at LPMS will have the opportunity to explore and develop their ICAP, refining as needed each year at LPMS and through High School. The lessons will happen during Homeroom, starting this month. We believe this is an excellent way for students to learn more about themselves, explore high-demand careers that are a good fit for them, and better understand how their unique talents are needed in the economy.
