LPSD SCAM Alert
Last spring, Lewis-Palmer School District #38 became aware that a company called Touchdown Sports was representing itself as a fundraising organization working with our schools. This company was NOT and is NOT associated with LPSD38 in any way.
We are aware that this is happening again. The company name has changed, but they continue to use the phone number 817-809-4800.
If you get calls or requests regarding supporting an LPSD school, please call the school to confirm that the organization is actually working with the school.
Please share this information.
Impact Aid Surveys
Impact Aid surveys are being mailed home the first week of November to parents/guardians who are active duty military. Completed surveys allow Lewis-Palmer School District to apply for the Federal Impact Aid Grant, which assists school districts who educate federally-connected children. Since the money we receive is directly affected by the number of children claimed in our application, please take the time to complete your survey and return it to your child's school.
Questions: please contact the district registrar, Jim Taylor, at 719-488-4701 or email@example.com
LPSD Finance Audit Results
Lewis-Palmer School District’s credit rating is again Aa2 which is above the nationwide school district median. Moody’s Investors Service, an independent credit rating agency, judged LPSD’s financial position as very strong exhibiting sound financial management.
