On All Bear Creek Reads Day, March 22nd, Palmer Lake author, Nancy Jurka, visited Bear Creek. She wrote a book about the Palmer Lake Star called Magic on the Mountainside.
During this day, we did many reading themed things as well. Staff and students were encouraged to dress up like their favorite literary character, too! We paused at the end of our day and everyone in the school read.
We had many volunteer readers come in and read to our classes! We are grateful for their time.
