Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is a club for 9-12 grade students who are interested in science. Students meet over the course of the year and prepare for events to compete against other regional high schools on a Saturday in February or March, potentially qualifying for the state competition in April. There are 23 events ranging in topics from genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, biology, mechanical engineering, and technology. Some of the events require preparation of knowledge in that particular area while other events require a built product. Any student who loves science, likes to problem solve independently and in a team setting is invited to come join us.

Please go to soinc.org for events and rules for the current year.

Science Olympiad will meet twice a month at 7:00 a.m. in room 1300, beginning September 15. Listen for announcements at the beginning of the school year to find out more about practice location and times. If you want to be kept in the loop for meetings and events, join remind by texting @prhsolymp to 81010.

Science Olympiad is on Canvas now! We will use Canvas to communicate, distribute resources, and facilitate meetings. If you would like to join Science Olympiad on Canvas, please email Leslie Lantz or Jillian Johnson.
