Key Club

Key Club International is the high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing, and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects, and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district, and international levels.

The Key Club service initiative is the hands-on element of the Major Emphasis. All of the hands-on service provided to children by Key Club International members is directed to a single area of need, to make a substantial impact.

To become a member of Palmer Ridge Key Club and Key Club International, please join us on the 2nd or 4th Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. in the Distance Learning Lab. You will need to complete a contract, and submit a $30 international, regional, and club membership fee. This also includes the current Key Club T-shirt.

Club meetings will have opportunities to sign up for volunteer events throughout the school year. A few annual events that we traditionally participate in are home game football clean-up, Empty Bowl Dinner, Starlighting Festival, and Salvation Army Bell Ringing.
