Principal’s Note
I hope our students and families have some great plans upcoming in the next few weeks! D38 will be part of the July 4th parade coming up in a few weeks. I hope to see lots of familiar faces.
Our offices will officially close for the summer starting Monday 6/9. Our office information for the summer is below. Please keep an eye out of the D38 Annual Update information that will come from Lewis Palmer School District 38 closer to July. This is done through Infinite Campus and all returning families must complete it. It allows us to get updated information for our students.
Enjoy the break from the school year routines and we look forward to welcoming our students back in August.
Calendar of Events
6/9-7/18: Front Office closed for the summer
7/1-7/31: Annual Update: The D38 Annual Online Update will be open. This process is critical for all families to complete. Be on the lookout for an email from D38 with instructions.
7/21-7/31: Front Office opens on a limited schedule 8:30-3:30 Monday-Thursday. Closed Fridays
8/1: Front Office opens 7:45-4:15
8/12: Back to School Open House to bring supplies and meet teachers
*1st-6th Grade Class placements will be released prior to 12:00
1:00 - New Families meet in the Gym
2:00-3:30 - All families
8/13:
First Day of School Grades 1-6;
Kindergarten: Half of the kindergarteners will come to school (more information will be sent over the summer)
Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten Warm Welcome (more information will come home to families over the summer)
8/14 -
Kindergarten: Half of the kindergarteners will come to school (more information will be sent over the summer).
First Day of School FULL-DAY Pre-Kindergarten;
Part Day Preschool/Part Day Pre-Kindergarten Warm Welcome (more information will come home to families over the summer)
8/15- All kindergarteners start
8/18 - First Day of School Part Day Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten
8/28 - Back to School Night 5:30-7:00 (more information will follow in August)

EduKit Ordering Info for 2025/26
Bear Creek Elementary offers the EduKit program as a convenient option for busy families to order school supplies for the 2025/2026 year. EduKits include the supplies approved by our school.
Your student’s order will be available for pick up on the First Day of School.
Extended ordering is available June 20 through July 3 for an additional fee and will be delivered to your home shortly before school begins.
