GT Facilitator

My name is Mary Frances, and I am the gifted facilitator for 4th-6th grades at Prairie Winds! After completing my BA in Art History at Emory University, I earned my MA in Late Classical to Early Medieval Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, my MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina, and my MA in Elementary Education. In addition to facilitating English enrichment classes to children in Singapore, I taught art history and business courses at the college level for over ten years. I have two children who attend Prairie Winds, and it is a joy to be here with them!

My goal is to establish an environment that is safe, nurturing, and respectful. I will strive to make connections in our classroom between what we are learning in the textbook and how we may use these ideas in our daily lives.

Please contact me via email, and I will respond within 24 hours on school days.

Hi there! My name is Mary, and I am thrilled to be joining the gifted and talented team at Prairie Winds. I have been in education since 2008, and I have a strong passion for gifted education. I am looking forward to getting to know the students at Prairie Winds and helping them to reach their full potential.

I have my degree in English and Elementary Education from UCCS. In 2011, I received my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with an endorsement in Gifted & Talented Education.

Although I graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School, I spent the first ten years of my career in Academy School District 20. I could not be happier to be joining my twin girls here at Prairie Winds!

You can contact me any time via email, and I will respond within 24 hours on school days.
