Our before and after school enrichment classes are called "Hawk Happenings.” We are charging a small fee for these activities to pay for supplies and also to generate some revenue to fund Hawk Happenings. These activities will be provided on a first come - first served basis. When classes are available, a flyer will be sent home with each child. It will have detailed information about each class and instructions on how to register. You may also find this information on the school Announcements webpage.

Past classes have included: Extreme Math, Algebra Club, GeoBee, Guitar, Cooking with Literature and Active Mornings.

Understanding that finances may be a consideration for some families, and that children will want to be involved in activities nonetheless, please call our office if the fees are a hardship for you, we will make arrangements. Also, families with more than two children at Prairie Winds will be given a "credit.” Those families will pay for the first two, but subsequent children can participate at no cost.
