District Overview

  • Administration Building The Lewis-Palmer School District is situated at the north end of El Paso County, north of the United States Air Force Academy. Serving over 6000 students, the district encompasses Palmer Lake, Monument, Woodmoor and the northern part of the Black Forest area.


    In addition to the core curriculum, all district schools offer programs to meet the unique learning needs of students who qualify for Special Education services, Gifted and Talented services, and for those students who speak languages other than English.


    Indicators of student learning, as measured by state and national tests, confirm that District 38 ranks among the highest in the state. Our high school graduation rate is over 95%, and approximately 85% continue on to college.


    The district provides bus transportation and a hot lunch program, and school-sponsored athletic programs are available for boys and girls at the middle and high school levels.

  • Sign up for Transportation

    Students who are new bus riders this year should sign up for a ZPass. Please see the Transportation page for details. Students who rode last year do not need to sign up. Bus stops will be finalized beginning August 5, and will be posted to the Infinite Campus parent portal shortly before school starts.

    2016-2017 Student Schedules

    Student schedules will be posted in Infinite Campus in August.   

      • High school schedules will be posted late on August 5.
      • Middle school schedules will be posted by the end of the day on August 8.
      • Elementary school schedules will be posted by the end of the day on August 16.


    Parents will be able to view student schedules through parent portal accounts in IC. Students will only be able to log in and view their IC accounts after school begins. If you do not have a parent portal account or do not remember your login information, please complete the form found here (http://tinyurl.com/gudbzrw) as soon as possible so your parent portal account will be ready when students’ schedules are released.
