Principal’s Note

I hope there have been some great starts to the break and there are lots of fun adventures upcoming that create lasting memories.  

Report cards will be posted to Infinite Campus on 5/20 at 4pm.  Please be sure to check them!  

The BCES office will be on a limited summer schedule until July 31.  Specific information regarding the summer hours are below along with other Back-To-School dates and information.

Thank you all for the tremendous support we receive at BCES! Enjoy the break from the school routine and we look forward to seeing everyone in August!

Calendar of Events

5/21-6/4: Front Office is open on a limited schedule 8:30-3:30 Monday-Thursday. Closed Fridays

6/5-7/24:  Front Office closed for the summer

7/1-7/31:  Annual Update:  The D38 Annual Online Update will be open. This process is critical for all families to complete. Be on the lookout for an email from D38 with instructions.

7/27-7/31: Front Office opens on a limited schedule 8:30-3:30 Monday-Thursday. Closed Friday

8/3:   Front Office opens 7:45-4:15

8/11: 

• 1:00- 3:00pm Back-to-School Open House K-6

1:00pm New Students & Parents

2:00pm Returning Parents

• Parents: bring students with their supplies or pick up school supply kits

• Find teacher assignment and locate classroom

• Meet the principal and visit the various tables set up in the commons

• 4:00-6:00 Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten Warm Welcome (more information will come home to families over the summer)

8/12:

• First Day of School Grades 1-6, 8:55-3:55

• Kindergarten: Half of the kindergarteners will come to school 8:55-3:55 (more information will be sent over the summer)

• 9:30-4:00 Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten Warm Welcome (more information will come home to families over the summer)

8/13 -

• Kindergarten: Half of the kindergarteners will come to school 8:55-3:55 (more information will be sent over the summer).

• First Day of School FULL-DAY Pre-Kindergarten (8:50-3:50)

• First Day Part Day Pre-School (8:30-11:15) and Part Day Pre-Kindergarten (12:00-3:45)

8/14-  All kindergarteners start (8:55-3:55)

EduKit Ordering Info for 2026/27

Bear Creek Elementary offers the EduKit program as a convenient option for busy families to order school supplies for the 2026/2027 year. EduKits include the supplies approved by our school.

Your student’s order will be available for pick up on the First Day of School. 

Extended ordering is available June 21 through July 7 for an additional fee and will be delivered to your home shortly before school begins.
