BCES Announcements

  • We are getting ready for our Remote Learning adventure!  Staff will have access to the building on Monday, March 30th, for planning purposes and on Tuesday, March 31st, we are offering curbside pick-up of kindergarten through sixth grade student materials and any necessary medication pick-up that might be needed not to include lost and found items.  This is optional, but we wanted to offer it as we know not all necessary materials went home before our extended break. 

    How can staff be in the building and offer pick-up with the Governor's Order in place?

    1. Educational Institutions that Provide Critical Services to Students and
      the General Public:
      ● K-12 public school and private schools for the purpose of providing meals,
      housing, facilitating or providing materials for distance learning, and
      providing other essential services to students, provided that Social
      Distancing Requirements are observed. 

                  Necessary Travel. For purposes of this Order, travel is Necessary for any of the
                  following purposes: (1) providing or accessing Necessary Activities, Minimum Basic
                 Operations, Critical Government Functions, and Critical Businesses; (2) receiving materials
                 for distance learning, for receiving meals, and any other related services from educational

    If you should need to pick-up medications, please e-mail Mrs. Prichard at, so that she has them ready for you.

    *Please enter the campus from Leather Chaps utilizing our normal exit route. 

    *Proceed to the west side or front of the building depending on which way the signage tells you to go for the letter of your last name.  Please watch for staff to be directing you.

         *Please hug the curb and pull as far forward as possible.

    *When you drive up to the curb have a large piece of paper with your student’s last name visible and first names of all students below it.

         *Please remain in your car while we bring your materials to you

    Last name of student:

    A & B               8:30 AM to 9:00 AM (smaller group so we can try to work out kinks)
    C, D, E, & F     9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

    G, H, I, & J     10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

    K, L, M, & N   11:00 AM to 12:00 AM

    O, P, Q, & R  12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

    S, T, U, & V    1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

    W, X, Y, & Z   2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

    If you want someone else to pick-up your materials, please just have them present your information in the format requested above. If you can’t make your scheduled pick-up time, please feel free to come at any time between 9 AM and 3 PM, but realize that it will take longer to get you your materials.

    If you want to order a Summer Bridge Book, please have the order form and check ready for drop off when you arrive.  Any questions can be directed to Judy Benson at  No need to turn anything else in at this time.

    Patience will be the key, but we wanted to offer this optional opportunity in order to assist your student as we enter our Remote Learning adventure together.

    Before & After School Care
    Children absorb knowledge, skills and values from everything and everyone around them.
