Mr. Timothy Bergmann
I will be teaching 8th Grade Science on the Blue Team again this year. Education is my second career following 22 years of active duty in the US Air Force. I hope to inspire intellectual curiosity in my students and relate scientific principles to their everyday lives. I am here to help my students in any way that I can. I look forward to a great year!
A little background about myself...I received my Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the US Air Force Academy. GO FALCONS!! I earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and earned a second Master’s in Military Operational Art & Science at Air University. This is my 6th year in the district. While working on my teaching credential, I was a substitute teacher in D38, volunteered in the LPMS library, and coached LPMS wrestling. I’ve been married over 20 years to Dee. We have a daughter and a son at LPHS and a dog always waiting to go on a hike.
I am honored to be on staff at Lewis-Palmer Middle School. What happens in my classroom will affect your child's future. I take that fact seriously when it comes to academics and socialization during these crucial middle school years. Our time together will be well spent and every minute will count! I’m familiar with the upcoming 8th grade class and find them a dynamic, enthusiastic group. Now, it’s my duty to know each student individually in order to maximize his/her learning potential and relate personal interests to science and the world around us. This will be my 6th year coaching wrestling and my 3rd year coaching football. My goal in the classroom, on the mat, and on the field is for students to work hard AND enjoy it. With your help, we can make it happen.
