New and Exciting Happenings!
Lewis-Palmer School District is transitioning to a true Online Registration (OLR) process.
A link in the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus will guide you through a step by step process you can start early!
OLR is available through the Parent Portal on the bottom left link called Annual Update
Please don't wait, the OLR requires a Parent Login to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (student logins will not be able to access the OLR function). Please note the closer it gets to August 1st the longer it will take to be assigned a parent id and login and possibly not have one before the assigned processing date which would then require you to fill out the paper copy processing packet. There will still be paper copies for optional documents i.e. parking permits, athletic passes.
SCHEDULES AND PROCESSING
Schedules will be available Friday, August 10th, after 4:00 p.m.
PROCESSING DAYS FOR EACH GRADE LEVEL AND OTHER IMPORTANT DATES
Students are expected to attend grade level processing, make schedule changes and pay appropriate fees for the new school year (please note: some items require separate payments/checks). Students must print their schedule (with locker and locker combo) and fee billing statement from Infinite Campus and bring with them on their processing day.
Textbooks will be distributed on processing day
MONDAY, August 13th
Seniors 8:00-10:00 a.m. Processing Day/Schedule Changes
Juniors 10:00-12:00 p.m. Processing Day/Schedule Changes
TUESDAY, August 14th
Sophomores 8:00-10:00 a.m. Processing Day/Schedule Changes
Freshmen 10:00-12:00 p.m. Processing Day/Schedule Changes
(Attention Freshmen: As part of your processing process, you will have vision and hearing screening. If you wear glasses or contacts, please wear or bring them with you at this time.)
Friday, August 17th
MAKE-UP PROCESSING (by appointment only) 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
MONDAY, August 20
LINK ORIENTATION: all freshmen 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Meet in the gym)
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION: all NEW students to the district (Except freshmen) 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
TUESDAY, August 21
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: CLASSES BEGIN 7:40 a.m. – 2:52 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, August 29
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Schedule changes will be made only for the following circumstances:
- To fill an open period in your schedule for the current semester
- To meet graduation requirements for seniors
- To retake a class that was failed
- If missing an A, B, or C part of a class
- Teacher recommended change for extenuating circumstances
Schedule changes will NOT be made for the following reasons:
- Two semesters of a class are taught by two different teachers
- Teacher change
- If a student has an alternate course selection in his/her schedule
- To obtain a different lunch period
Schedule changes will be made on processing day PRIOR to proceeding through the processing line. If you are requesting a schedule change, please enter the building through the Student Services doors. Enter the main doors for processing. Signs will be posted.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be an opportunity to make schedule changes during the first week of school. Forms will be available in the counseling office. Students will also have the opportunity at the end of first semester to work with their counselor to complete schedule changes for second semester.
SUPPLY LIST FOR LPHS
There is not an official school supply list for LPHS students. Teachers will let students know what supplies will be needed for each class. Please come to school on the first day prepared with pen, pencil, and notebook.
