Kindergarten Teacher

Hi! My name is Kecia Tomitsch, and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten this year with the amazing Tracy Edstrom as my partner! This will be my seventh year teaching in U.S. schools. (I taught in South Korea and also instructed Chinese students online.) If I look familiar, it might be because I have been substitute teaching in District 38 for the past few years; I also have two children who attend PLES! I earned my master's in curriculum and instruction (after a short career as a newspaper reporter), and I am eager to utilize best instructional practices to ensure all kindergartners reach their full potential! I love trail running, hiking, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with my husband, kids, and our friends! 

School hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 3:55 p.m.
