Mrs. Brooke Sinnott
Welcome to Sixth Grade Social Studies! I am so excited to be a part of your child's education and help them develop and continue their love for learning!
I reside in Colorado Springs with my husband, Will, and our Mini-Golden Retriever, Millie. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I grew up playing competitive soccer and played throughout college at UCCS. You can find me at the soccer field throughout the week as well as during the weekends. When I am not around soccer, I am running, hiking, camping, reading, or hanging out with my sister. In my spare time, I enjoy planning so I can become the most effective educator to positively impact my student's lives. I also enjoy painting, going on long walks, listening to music, and taking Millie to the park.
I am so excited and honored to work at Bear Creek Elementary School. I will be embarking on my sixth year of teaching, and my third year teaching 6th grade social studies at BCES. I began student teaching in 4th grade and transitioned to 2nd grade. I graduated in May of 2016 with my Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. After graduating, I spent my first year teaching 1st grade. Then, I taught 4th grade for two years. I am excited to teach sixth grade and share my love of social studies with all of my students! I also have my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
If you need to contact me for any reason, e-mail is the best option. I will get back to you within 24 hours! Feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns.
I look forward to an eventful year, making wonderful memories!
Yours in education,
