Welcome to 5th grade!
My name is Leah Kersch and this is my first year at Palmer Lake Elementary school. I am excited to be a Panther! I taught for three years in Eaton, Colorado as a third grade teacher and have recently moved to Monument with my husband. Moving to Monument has been a fun change and I am looking forward to working with your fabulous fifth grader.
I have a passion for education and enjoy learning new things to challenge myself. The outdoors is my preferred place to be and I love hiking, running, and rock climbing. My husband and I love working with our horses and dogs, too. I am eager to learn more about you and your student throughout the year!
Here at Palmer Lake Elementary School I am thrilled to be teaching Science and Math for the entire 5th grade. In our classroom we will focus on building relationships, strengthening our classroom culture, and how to collaborate with others. I will regularly post updates, announcements, and resources to this site and our Classroom Dojo. If you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me via Classroom Dojo, email, or phone.
I am looking forward to working with you and your student!
