  • Proposed Curriculum Review Notice

    Lewis-Palmer School District 38 follows Board Policy IJ for the selection of core instructional programs selected to be used for whole-class, as well as web-based programs, within the district’s schools.

    Core instructional programs, including digital and print text, as well as web-based programs, shall be available for inspection by students’ parents/guardians for a two-week period in a public setting. The community may access, review, and comment on the core instructional programs and books that are being considered during this period.

    Resources and materials for high school World History and Geography, 6-12th grade English Language Arts and 6-8th grade Math will be available for public review and comment. Materials will be available February 13, 14, 18-21, 24-27, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lewis-Palmer School District 38 Administration Building, 146 Jefferson Street, Monument, CO 80132.   If the district is closed for a weather day during the review period, then materials will be available for a make-up day on February 28, 2020.
