Art Teacher and Field Hockey Coach
Art appeals to the visual sense to create amazing pieces throw a wide range of artistic ability. Not only do we create works of art within the classroom, but we are also here to promote creativity, innovation, and problem solving skills that students can carry on throughout the rest of their lives. Art teaches students how to think outside the box and helps exercise brain function. These are the ideas that I want to incorporate within my drawing and painting classes this year and learn more about each student through their works of art because I believe that every student expresses their own personality through their artwork.
The 2018-2019 year will be my second year being a part of the Palmer Ridge family. I grew up in the Monument area and graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Studio and Digital art with a Teaching Licensure at Liberty University where I also played Division I Field Hockey all 4 years. This year I will be teaching Painting 1 and Drawing 1 on Navy days. This is also my third year as a coach for the Palmer Ridge field hockey team and first year as a head coach.
If you need to contact me, the best way to reach me is either email or call me on Navy days. I have forth period as my plan period.
