SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS HELP STUDENTS THRIVE
School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students’ ability to learn and teachers’ ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. School psychologists partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community. I have been a school psychologist for 25 years. I love working with children and I am very excited to be joining the teams at Lewis-Palmer Elementary and Lewis-Palmer Middle School. What an amazing opportunity to work with professionals who share the same passion –HELPING STUDENTS THRIVE!
I grew up in the amazing State of Ohio, so yes, I am an Ohio State Buckeye fan, but I am also a Denver Bronco fan. We have lived in Colorado for seven years and I am always in awe of the beauty here. My family and I love hiking in the mountains, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, fishing, and doing anything outdoors.
I am looking forward to working with the wonderful community of parents, teachers, and students that make Lewis-Palmer D38 so great!
