Mrs. Tami Adams
Hello! I am so excited to be teaching at Lewis-Palmer Elementary this year. Second grade is where I started my teaching career twenty-six years ago and I am very happy to be back, doing what I love.
A little about me:
I hold both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I’ve taught pretty much everything from preschool to high school but, most of my time has been spent teaching second-grade.
My family moved to Colorado in 2010 and I began working in District 38 seven years ago as a substitute teacher, specifically at LPES. I also teach English to Chinese children online from my home.
My husband and I have four children. My oldest daughter is a Junior at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). My oldest son just graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School and will be a freshman at the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!). My youngest daughter will be a senior and my youngest son will be a sophomore at LPHS this year.
In my free time, I like to do everything from reading and baking to waterskiing, kneeboarding, and playing disc golf. I especially like hiking. I'm looking forward to an awesome year with my class. Let's make it great!!
If you need to contact me, please email me.
