Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Angelena Stone

Hello! Welcome to third grade! I am excited to begin our new adventure this year!

My family and I moved to Colorado from the beaches of Wilmington, North Carolina. We are just now getting used to all of the snow! We have family here and enjoy many outdoor activities. My husband, David and I have a son, Tyler and a chihuahua/rat terrier mix named Shiloh. I enjoy traveling, hiking, four‐wheeling, shopping, singing, acting, and reading children’s books.

With over 20 years in the classroom, I have served as a Behavior Intervention Specialist, a second, third, and fourth-grade classroom teacher and a sixth grade math teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in math and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I love teaching and will continue to support student growth by providing personalized learning experiences designed to enhance academic skills.

Teaching is my passion, and children are at the center of everything I do. I believe relationships and open communication between students, parents, and staff are essential to the growth and academic success of each child. I strive to develop a family‐like atmosphere in the classroom where children feel safe and confident to spread their wings and soar to new heights in their learning. I consider it a great privilege to be your teacher this year and look forward to our journey together.

Please feel free to contact me at, and I look forward to a successful school year!
