Mr. Jason Heidel

Jason Heidel was born and raised in Mount Union, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Lock Haven University where he also played four years of college baseball. He moved his family to Colorado in June of 2010. He is a certified K-12 Physical Education teacher with a Master’s in Technology Education. He has over ten years of experience as a teacher and coach. This will be Jason's 2nd year in the Lewis-Palmer School District. He, also, taught Physical Education, Art and Technology at Cherry Valley Elementary in Douglas County School District. He also served as the Technology Coordinator at Cherry Valley. Prior to that, Jason taught 7 years of Health and Physical Education at Kennard-Dale High school in Fawn Grove, PA where he coached Varsity Baseball. He is currently coaching the Pop Warner Monument Blizzard Jr. Pee Wee football team and serves as Commissioner of the Blizzard Association. 

He and his wife, Tara, have two sons and a daughter. Elizabeth(10) who is currently attending Kilmer Elementary, Andrew(12) who is at the Lewis Palmer Middle School and his son Isaac(15) who is attending his second year at Palmer Ridge High School.

His family enjoys adventures, sports and love to be outdoors, including camping, hunting and fishing.

Jason is looking forward to having the opportunity to teach and inspire your children. He looks forward to utilizing different ways to provide your children an opportunity to enjoy exercise, learn the benefits of sport and how to create a lifetime of fitness and healthy living.
