Mrs. Tiffani Lind
I am so thrilled to be back at BCES!
I believe all children can learn and that it is our job to help them find their way toward success as future adults.
I also believe, the most important aspect of education is growth and realization of every person in the building, student and teacher/leader alike. I believe in sustaining a culture where students, staff, and families feel safe, trusted, free of judgement, and a sense of belonging. I believe in sharing my passion for student inclusion in all demographics of the population. I believe that all children can learn if given the freedom, trust, patience, and understanding to do so in the best way for them. I believe in learners having some control over their space, time, and method of learning, through differentiation and individual relationships. And, to maintain a positive growth culture, I believe in natural, appropriate, and consistent consequences circumnavigating high expectations, that foster confidence, relationships, and connection. These are the beginning words of my Education Philosophy and I feel very passionately about them.
This is my eleventh year in education. I have worked in a multitude of positions, to include grade-level elementary teaching, special education teaching, paraprofessional support, and even high school teaching! I spent last year going back to school to begin my second Masters Degree that would also provide me with my Principal Licensure. My first Masters is in Curriculum and Instruction. Since receiving my principal endorsement, I spent some time looking for career opportunities where I could use that new knowledge while gaining work experience in a Lead Learner position. Gratefully, that search landed me back at BCES where I spent some time as one of the special education teachers just three years ago.
On a personal note, I have two amazing children that I am proud to say are making their way through teen-hood well. They are both active and attempting to make various high school sports teams and special programs. A lot of our family time is spent supporting those endeavors. When I am not running around town, my family carts our 3 dogs into the car for trips into the mountains as often as we can. You can regularly find us hanging off the side of the biggest mountain top around! Plus, a great session of 'Forest Bathing' is one of my favorite activities to clear my mind and fill my soul.
