Sarah Loyer

Sarah Loyer, native of Monument, Colorado where she attended Lewis-Palmer schools and has participated in music since first grade. 

Mrs. Loyer attended the University of Northern Colorado majoring in Music Education. While at UNC she performed in a variety of ensembles. While studying at the University of Northern Colorado Mrs. Loyer studied under Brad Behn and Bil Jackson. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in December 2009. 

After graduation from UNC, Mrs. Loyer taught preschool through twelfth grade music in Eastern Colorado at Kit Carson School, instrumental music at Adams City Middle School in Commerce City, Colorado. Most recently, Mrs. Loyer has taught Kindergarten through 5th grade general and instrumental music at Woodmen-Roberts Elementary in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

Mrs. Loyer maintains a small studio of private clarinet students in addition to teaching at Bear Creek Elementary. She has been a member of the Loveland Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Wind Ensemble and currently performs with the Academy Jazz Ensemble. Mrs. Loyer currently resides in Monument, Colorado with her husband and loves to spend her weekends out running the local trails.
