Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Kris Scarsbrook

Welcome!  Fourth grade is filled with amazing learning opportunities and adventures! Students will travel through the history of Colorado, investigate erosion, energy, and the structure of animals and plants.  They will also become strong mathematicians by using real-life story problems.  We will dig deep to draw inferences, determine themes, and point of view in our readings.  As writers, they will embrace their imagination and publish a personal narrative, and create a poetry book. Hang on tight as we soar into the sky.  Go Eagles!

I have enjoyed working with children for as long as I can remember!  I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University and continued my studies at Arizona State University in the area of Early Childhood Development. In my 16 years of teaching, I have taught kindergarten through fourth grade.  All three of my children graduated from District 38.

I absolutely enjoy the Colorado outdoor life...hiking, running, skiing, camping. It's a beautiful state, and a great place for adventures! Speaking of adventures, I'm looking forward to this new school year and working with your child!
