Building Accountability Advisory Committee (BAAC)

  • BAAC is the Building Accountability Advisory Committee. Each elementary school's BAAC is represented by one officer, who is a parent representative, an additional parent representative, and one faculty member. BAAC is a member of the District Accountability Advisory Committee or DAAC. DAAC meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at a different school each month. School district advisory committees are required by Colorado School Law. DAAC's function is "to make recommendations to the Board of Education relative to the Accountability and Colorado Accreditation Program." The Board of Education meetings are usually held the third Thursday of the month from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Lewis-Palmer Administration. Also, Board of Education meetings may be viewed online. BAAC members attend or view Board of Education meetings. BAAC members report to their school building at the monthly PTO/BAAC meetings.
