LINK is a high school transition program to welcome freshmen and make them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, the LINK Crew consists of members of the junior and senior class to serve as LINK Leaders. As positive role models, LINK Leaders are motivators who guide the freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school. One of our goals at LPHS is to increase freshmen success, and the LINK Crew program helps us do that by providing the structure for freshmen to receive support and guidance from others who have been through the challenges that high school poses.
The LINK Program begins with a powerful orientation day that makes freshmen excited and proud to be attending Lewis-Palmer High School and allows them to begin developing relationships and strategies that will contribute to their high school success. After orientation, the LINK Program continues by providing a variety of both academic and social activities throughout the year.
