The mission of CyberPatriot is to train the next generation in the art of cybersecurity, defending against intrusive programs, security breaches and maintaining the overall security of the networks. Cyber Patriots compete in national competitions with up to 1300 teams in analyzing systems for security issues both internal and external. These students are the future security guardians of information generated and transmitted over the ever-increasing network.
All rounds of competition in CyberPatriot, with the exception of the National Finals Competition, take place online. Teams may compete from any location; many participate at their school, organization, or public library. Competitions take place on specified weekends throughout the school year. Teams must complete all their work during one (1) six consecutive-hour period on the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of these competition windows. They may only have one instance of an image open at a time.
Meetings will occur in room 309 on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00.
Competitions should be on Saturdays this year [Tentative].The competition schedule can be found on uscyberpatriot.org
