Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Arianne Thomas
This will be my 7th year teaching Choir at Palmer Ridge High School. I have a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in education from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO. I currently sing in the Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble. Growing up in a very musical family, music has always been important to me, and I love sharing its joy with my students. I believe music is much more than just notes on a page. Music teaches history, culture, teamwork, confidence, expression, selflessness, and it inspires creativity, awe and beauty.
“Music is the universal language of mankind.” ― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
“Music touches us emotionally, where words alone can't.” ― Johnny Depp

FROM MRS. ROSE DUNPHEY:
I am thrilled to be returning to PRHS Performing Arts as Mrs. Thomas' longterm sub! I taught at PR for the first 4 years it was open. I will be directing the Women's Ensemble and Chamber Singers, and coaching the vocalists for the Fall Musical. I love music and high school students! I attended University of Oregon where I earned a B.A. in Physical Education and Music, and a Master's Degree in Music Education. I am proud to be a Mama Bear as well, as my two teens attend Palmer Ridge.
