Intervention Teacher

I am excited to be back for another year at Prairie Winds. I worked here from 2008-2011 as a paraprofessional in special education. I then went to Bear Creek Elementary for two years as a reading interventionist. I am so happy to be at Prairie Winds as an interventionist. I received my undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and my degree in Elementary Education from The University of Colorado. Teaching reading is a passion of mine. I feel that reading is the gateway to a child's future. 

I live here in Monument with my two sons. I am a Colorado native and I enjoy getting outside and enjoying the wonderful scenery we have here in this beautiful state.
