Mrs. Lorena Wilder

The mission of our Library-Media/Technology program is to increase learning through information/technology literacy and a love of reading. I strongly believe the LM/T Center should be an open, friendly, welcoming place for students and staff that embraces differences in learning styles and abilities.
I come from three generations of women teaching in public education. I have degrees from Georgetown University (B.S. in Foreign Affairs), Regis University (Colorado teaching endorsement) and The University of Northern Colorado (M.A. in Educational Media). I have worked in school libraries for more than twenty years and have been a middle school teacher librarian in LPSD since 2001. My biggest library challenges have been the opening of Creekside Middle School library media center in 2001, then the closing and merging of that library with Lewis-Palmer Middle School in 2010. I am looking forward to many more years of working with the Lewis-Palmer Middle School community!
