Long-Term Sub

I have had a rich career in Human Service. My background includes counseling, corporate training, and most recently, education. I received my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from the University of Missouri, and have worked as a Special Educator for 10+ years. My 3 children have all been educated in the Lewis-Palmer School District, and I have lived in the Monument area for 24 years. We enjoy hiking, skiing, kayaking, biking and traveling. 

I am truly inspired by the talent and dedication of all my fellow teachers and staff, and I feel it is a privilege to be a part of a dynamic organization. I enjoy working with children and love the challenges of the middle school population. I believe each child has unique needs and I look forward to helping each student I work with reach their highest potential. Working as a Resource Teacher means there is never a dull moment!
