Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Malinda Sanger (Martens)

8th grade is an exciting time in an adolescent's life and I feel very fortunate to teach here at LPMS. I have been teaching U.S. History for 15 years and I continue to enjoy every minute in the classroom. I am a Colorado Springs native graduating from Air Academy High School, earning my BA in history from UCCS and an M.Ed. in education from Regis University. I have 3 grown children of my own and fully appreciate and understand the struggles that teens face. Please know that I am always open to communication and recognize the importance parents/guardians have in their child's education. The best way to contact me is through email and I will do my best to respond within 24 hours. We will have a wonderful year together!

Fun fact: I got married in July!!!!  I will be transitioning my name from Martens to Sanger throughout the year!!!  But, for now, please email me at or call me at 867-8172.
