Mr. Paul Johnson

Welcome to 7 Silver Team!  I am Mr. Johnson, your Math Teacher.

After high school, I attended the United States Military Academy (similar to the Air Force Academy) at West Point, New York, graduating in 1984.

For the next twenty years, I served in various Army Engineering assignments in Virginia, Georgia, Kansas, Colorado, Washington, DC, Florida and Nevada.  Additionally, I served in Germany, Bosnia, Belize, Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.  I retired from the Army and began teaching in 2004.

I began my mathematics teaching career in 2004 at Mitchell High School, Colorado Springs.  In 2007, I decided to move to middle school to better motivate younger students.  After four years at Skyview Middle School, Colorado Springs, I finally made the move to Lewis-Palmer Middle School, Monument, in 2011.

I truly love teaching at LPMS!  My students, parents, administrators and the entire community have been extremely supportive of my efforts.  I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you.  I will support your educational goals, especially in mathematics, to the absolute best of my ability before school, during class, at lunch, during Academic Enrichment and after school.

Since our classroom phones are auto-fowarded to voicemail during instructional hours, my preferred method of contact is via school email.  Thanks.
