Mrs. Claycomb teaches 7th grade language arts and one section of advanced language arts. She is the 7th grade language arts department chair. This year will mark the 20th year she's taught at LPMS.

In language arts class, students are expected to come to class prepared to read, write, listen, speak, and think.  Every year Mrs. Claycomb challenges students to read their hearts out and develop a passion and love for reading for pleasure.  

Mrs. Claycomb, her husband and their son enjoy reading and chasing their spoiled cats.
