LPHS Back to School Information
The Annual Update link will be available during the month of July through the Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal.
All families will need to complete the Annual Update prior to processing.
This process will replace most of the Back To School paperwork packets you have needed to complete in the past and the best part of all THIS year you will be able to click through most screens only updating new, changed, or required information. There will still be paper copies for optional documents i.e. parking permits, athletic passes.
SCHEDULES AND PROCESSING
Schedules will be available Friday, August 9th, after 4:00 p.m.
PROCESSING DAYS FOR EACH GRADE LEVEL AND OTHER IMPORTANT DATES
Students are expected to attend grade level processing, make schedule changes and pay appropriate fees for the new school year (please note: some items require separate payments/checks). Students must print their schedule (with locker and locker combo) and fee billing statement from Infinite Campus and bring with them on their processing day.
Textbooks will be distributed during class time the first week of school

(Attention Freshmen: As part of your processing process, you will have vision and hearing screening. If you wear glasses or contacts, please wear or bring them with you at this time.)
Friday, August 16th
LINK ORIENTATION: all freshmen 8:00 a.m. – 12:00
MAKE-UP PROCESSING 12:30 – 2:00
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION: all NEW students to the district (Except freshmen) 1:00 – 3:00
MONDAY, August 19
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: CLASSES BEGIN 7:40 – 2:52
WEDNESDAY, August 28
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT 5:45 – 8:00
Schedule changes will be made only for the following circumstances:
- To fill an open period in your schedule for the current semester
- To meet graduation requirements for seniors
- To retake a class that was failed
- If missing an A, B, or C part of a class
- Teacher recommended change for extenuating circumstances
Schedule changes will NOT be made for the following reasons:
- Two semesters of a class are taught by two different teachers
- Teacher change
- If a student has an alternate course selection in his/her schedule
- To obtain a different lunch period
Schedule changes will be made on processing day PRIOR to proceeding through the processing line. If you are requesting a schedule change, please enter the building through the Student Services doors. Enter the main doors for processing. Signs will be posted.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be an opportunity to make schedule changes during the first week of school. Forms will be available in the counseling office. Students will also have the opportunity at the end of first semester to work with their counselor to complete schedule changes for second semester.
SUPPLY LIST FOR LPHS
There is not an official school supply list for LPHS students. Teachers will let students know what supplies will be needed for each class. Please come to school on the first day prepared with pen, pencil, and notebook.
