Online High School
Lewis-Palmer School District is excited to provide students with an opportunity to individualize and customize their education by providing an online option with student choice about time, place, and path of learning through fully online or part-time online/part-time brick and mortar courses. Lewis-Palmer School District Online High School (LPSD-OHS) is a program for students in 9th-12th grade enrolled in the Lewis-Palmer School District. Students have the ability to access the curriculum and assignments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere with an internet connection. Online teachers interact with students through multiple venues creating a virtual learning environment. Face-to-face advisory meetings will occur at regular intervals.
LPSD believes students must be passionate about learning, own the learning process, and be dedicated and responsible for creating their successes. Students must be responsible, proactive, independent learners to be successful. LPSD-OHS provides the option for flexibility but requires progress to be made in all online courses regularly. Students will be enrolled at their primary brick and mortar school and have a secondary enrollment with LPSD-OHS. At the end of grade 12, LPSD-OHS students will graduate and earn a diploma from their brick and mortar Lewis-Palmer School District High School.
Lewis-Palmer School District Online High School (LPSD-OHS) course content is reviewed and monitored regularly. LPSD-OHS students grow, learn, and earn credits toward graduation as
Lewis-Palmer School District students.
